It is the Home Team's responsibility to enter the date, time and into the website.

Rescheduling Games.

The Coast and Bay Spring League is primarily developmental and the goal is to play matches.
The CCSL Coast Section fall season is designed to give teams the appropriate level of competition.

Teams are strongly urged to play their matches on the same weekend as the scheduled dates.

Acceptable reasons for rescheduling a Coast and Bay Spring League game are:

  • the field is unplayable
  • there is a field conflict (a honest mistake in scheduling or permitting)
  • mutual convenience to both teams
  • a conflict with high school rule 600
  • a team is playing in a State Level CYSA Cup
  • a team has players with conflicting ODP commitments and is not able to field 11 players for the match.

Examples of unacceptable reasons for asking to reschedule a Coast and Bay Spring League game or a CCSL Coast Section game are:

  • the inability of a team to field a complete team
  • the inability of a certain players to make the game
  • a manager or coach's schedule conflict

Acceptable reasons for rescheduling a CCSL Coast Section Fall game are:

  • the field is unplayable i.e. weather cancellation
  • there is a field conflict (a honest mistake in scheduling or permitting)
  • a conflict with high school rule 600
  • a team is playing in a State Level CYSA Cup; a team is playing in a tournament during the last weekend of September or the last weekend of Ocotober
  • a team has players with conflicting ODP commitments or Standardized Testing (SAT, PSAT, ACT) or Homecoming Dance

Unplayed Games

In Spring, failure to play will be scored a "No Game" and not a forfeit.
In Fall, failure to play will be a forfeit and fines will be imposed.

Visiting Teams That Cancel

Visiting teams that cancel or request a reschedule with less than 72 hours notice are responsible to reimburse the home team for the referee and field fees that would have been incurred for the game.
